Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal to battle it out for Draxler

Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all renewed their interest in Julian Draxler. All three Prem teams have previously tried to sign the German international, only for no move to pan out.

The Gunners were hoping to sign the 21-year old last January but ended up pulling out of a potential move when Schalke demanded that they trigger his buy-out clause of ÂŁ37m, otherwise he wasn’t going anywhere.

Chelsea have had a keen interest in the youngster before and reports are claiming that they too are interested in a move once again, while the Red Devils have also been linked. Outside of the Premier League, current Champions League holders Real Madrid are also reportedly targeting Draxler.

The midfielder currently has four years left on his current deal but that hasn’t put-off any prospective buyers and Schalke themselves are preparing for a fresh fight to keep hold of the World Cup winner. Arsene Wenger sent scouts to watch Draxler in mid-week, amid reports that he is plotting a move again.

However, if the Frenchman does decide to reignite his interest in the 21-year old, he could be asked to stump up ÂŁ37m again. If he isn’t willing to do so, then it could mean that Chelsea or Man United swoop in and claim his signature instead.
