Two Premier League clubs are interested in the goalkeeper

According to reports from the Metro, Petr Cech has opened up talks with Arsenal about a possible move in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners will apparently offer their London rivals Chelsea £10 million to lure the shot-stopper from Stamford Bridge across the capital to the Emirates Stadium.

However, Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is ready to provide competition to Arsenal in an arm wrestle for the 32-year old Cech.

Replacement for David De Gea?

The Czech goalkeeper’s agent has suggested that van Gaal is lining up his client to replace David De Gea, who could be on his way to Real Madrid at the end of the campaign.

Despite this, if Cech joins Arsene Wenger and co at the Emirates at the end of the season, Wojciech Szczesny could leave Arsenal on loan to Southampton after losing his first team place to Colombian David Ospina.
