A representative of Bayern Munich star Toni Kroos is refusing to deny the links between Kroos and Manchester United are true, despite stating he believes that Kroos will remain at The Allianz this summer.
As Sillyseason revealed earlier this week, Kroos is open to a move to Old Trafford, with The Red Devils prepared to offer £40million and a huge contract to get their man. Kroos still has 14 months left on his Bayern contact left to run, but negotiations over an extension have stalled, strengthening United’s resolve.
Additionally, Kroos has told his Bayern and German team mates that he wants to move to United having grown tired of playing second fiddle to Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The two clubs meet in the Champions League tonight, and ahead of the clash Kroos’ representative Volkar Struth has tried to cool specualtion over his clients future,
“For months we’ve been hearing all kinds of rumours, and we won’t comment on them,” he told Bild.
“But currently I believe that Toni will stay at Bayern at least until 2015.”
