Premier League clubs West Ham, Sunderland, Hull and Swansea are all keen on signing Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson on a season-long loan deal.
The English right-back will likely find it hard to break into the first-team next season after manager Arsene Wenger splashed the cash on Mathieu Debuchy, signing him on a £12 million deal after Bacary Sagna departed from The Emirates.
With reports suggesting that Arsenal are also set to sign Calum Chambers from Southampton, Jenkinson’s first-team hopes look in doubt, leaving numerous Premier League clubs battling it out for the 22-year-old. Despite the rumours however, Wenger has claimed that he is keen to see how the youngster progresses and will feature him on a regular basis in the Premier League next term.
