AC Milan Chief Executive, Adriano Galliano, has refused to rule out terminating the loan of Chelsea striker, Fernando Torres, admitting that the January transfer window is ‘unpredictable’.

Reports emerged last week that the Serie A side may end Torres’ loan-deal, just several months into a proposed two-year deal, and the speculation refuses to go away as Galliano admits that anything could happen in the New Year.

Since the initial report has emerged about the potential loan-deal cancellation, Jose Mourinho has stated that Chelsea will not have the striker back because they don’t need him and can’t afford to have him on the wage-bill, Liverpool have been linked with re-signing him, and it’s suggested that The Blues may just release the Spaniard.

However, Galliano has spoken formally for the first time about the deal, and he has admitted that it may happen.

“Will he leave in January? I don’t think so, but the market is unpredictable,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

“We need to have patience. The lad was unlucky and needs to settle into our football.”
