Emmanuel Adebayor is just sitting on the bench which is currently helping no one. Tottenham has an extremely expensive bench warmer that is just staying fit by playing with the youngsters. The last game he played was the humiliating loss to his old club Manchester City. The player still has a few more years in him and will not be able to make the most of this on the bench.
Adebayor needs to move soon before his reputation is too damaged to make a Premier League move. Although receiving interest from QPR he wants a move back to Arsenal. The gunners need some more strikers as the only support for Olivier Giroud is Niklas Bendtner. They may be at the top of the league but the london side may not have the best selections of strikers.
Many fans wouldn’t want the Togo international back due to his actions three years ago when he ran the length of the pitch to celebrate a goal he scored against Arsenal with Manchester City. He also made matters worse when getting red carded last season against the gunners whilst playing for Spurs. He wouldn’t be any better off as he would just be on the bench at Arsenal as Giroud will be picked above Adebayor.
Wengers side has many choices in midfield and out on the wing however they only have oneman up front with their sub striker still getting back on his feet after a run of unsuccessful loan spells. If Adebayor can prove himself then he may take the top spot from Giroud as the frenchman makes regular mistakes.
