Adidas have made Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold one of the highest-paid players in Europe.
According to The Athletic, the full-back has signed a lucrative multi-year boot deal with the German company, and the 25-year-old will serve as one of the faces of the next generation of Adidas Predator boots, alongside Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham and Barcelona’s Pedri.
Alexander-Arnold donned a pair of unreleased Adidas Predator boots in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday, and his debut in a new boot brand could not have gone better for the German maker, as the right-back scored a stunning second-half goal to tie the match.
Alexander-Arnold previously worn Under Armour footwear, and the defender has collaborated with the American sportswear brand since 2017.
According to the deal, the Liverpool star took the choice to switch after successful talks with Adidas about their goals for him, and the German company is said to be pleased to have the England international on board.
The 25-year-old is one of the sport’s most well-known defenders, and this relationship might be highly beneficial to both sides, since Adidas is a superpower that can bring a lot of wonderful prospects into Alexander-Arnold’s life.
