Adnan Januzaj is confident Manchester United will be challenging for the Premier League title very soon.
The Red Devils were considered as one of the title contenders at the start of the season but their performance in the top flight hasn’t helped them in the cause as they are currently 12 points adrift of league leaders Manchester City.
Since Alex Ferguson’s retirement, the Red Devils have failed to establish themselves as a potential candidate for the Premier League trophy. United were runners up last season but were no match for City who ran away with the Premier League title with a record 100 points in their tally.
The former United player thinks his former team would soon be back on the forefront back in the hunt for the Premier League title. “They [Manchester United] are struggling, it is a great team and great fans but they are struggling at the moment,”
“Obviously, they are going to get back on top. I think they need to make the right decisions to win games. There are many different reasons [why they are struggling] so they need to make right decisions.”
“I didn’t really get a chance because at the time he [Mourinho] probably wanted more experienced players with names.
“For me it wasn’t a problem. I had to move on and now I am happy in Spain and making a difference. I always knew I had the quality to play for Manchester United. I know what I am capable of.
“They didn’t give me a chance but it’s not a problem I am happy in Spain and enjoying my football.”
