According to reports in Spain, French midfielder Paul Pogba has been offered to Barcelona by notable agent Mino Raiola. Raiola recented paid a visit to Barcelona’s training facility with the intention if speaking to their executives about some of their emerging talents including Dutch teenager Xavi Simmons.
Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo have claimed that during in between discussions, Raiola told the Barca executives that Pogba wasn’t happy at Old Trafford and was open to a change of club.
The 50-year old Raiola who is also the agent of Romelu Lukaku, Mario Balotelli and Marco Verratti amongst others, earned £41 million when Pogba was signed by Manchester United by Juventus. Back then, Barcelona were also interested in acquiring the services of Pogba.
Relations between Pogba and Mourinho haven’t been very good and Pogba himself has hinted this. However, with only weeks left before the summer transfer window closes, it is highly unlikely that a transfer of this magnitude can be made.
Pogba still has another 4 years left on his contract at Old Trafford. He is currently with the France team at the World Cup in Russia where he will play the final against Croatia tomorrow.
