Premier League trio will have to stump up big in order to sign him

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has handed a bitter blow to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, after slapping a £58m price tag on forward Alvaro Morata.

The 22-year-old Spaniard has stated that he does not want ton leave the Serie A Champions, despite reports linking him with a return to Real Madrid.

Morata is a wanted man by Europe’s elite, following a fine campaign for the Turin outfit.

Alvaro not going anywhere

However, despite the interest from the three Premier League sides – Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has said that Morata is not for sale, unless a large bid is made.

“If we must sell Morata, I’d hope that the club takes in at least £50m-£58m (€70m-80m) as that is his true value,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I think we must look to him and also to [Kingsley] Coman, who is another youngster with exceptional quality.”

Liverpool are keen on the player ahead of a potential summer bid, as Brendan Rodgers looks to overhaul his squad, following a disappointing end 2014/15 season.

With Danny Ings having already agreed to sign-on at Anfield from Burnley on a free-transfer, with Fabio Borini, Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert all set to leave Liverpool this summer.

Meanwhile, Manchester United remain in the hunt for the internationally capped player, after Mario Mandzukic looks set for a Bundesliga return to Wolfsburg, though Arsenal appear to be the favourites to land Morata.
