Mourinho to get rid of midfielder during squad clear-out
It’s thought that Jose Mourinho sees no future at Manchester United for Ander Herrera.
Herrera joined United from Athletic Bilbao for £29million in June 2014.
He’s made 40 appearences since then and still has 2 years remaining on his contract, but reports are claiming that he was one of the players on the list of names Mourinho wanted out when he held a meeting with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward on Friday.
It’s thought Juan Mata was also on this list, Mata was sold by Mourinho to United when he was in charge of Chelsea in 2014, and he could be set to sell the Spanish international for a second time this summer.
