Michael O’Neill has picked his 23-man squad

Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill has today named his 23-man squad for this summer’s European Championships in France.

The Green and White Army rounded off their warm up for the tournament in perfect style, after they defeated Belarus 3-0 at Windsor Park.

The strikers shined brightest as Kyle Lafferty, Conor Washington and Will Grigg all netted in the victory, and that was enough for the trio to make it on the plane.

The full squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers

Roy Carroll (Notts County), Michael McGovern (Hamilton Academical) and Alan Mannus (St. Johnstone)

Defenders

Jonny Evans and Gareth McAuley (West Bromwich Albion), Craig Cathcart (Watford), Conor McLaughlin (Fleetwood Town), Shane Ferguson (Millwall), Lee Hodson (Milton Keynes Dons), Luke McCulough (Doncaster Rovers) and Aaron Hughes (Melbourne City)

Midfielders

Stuart Dallas (Leeds United), Chris Baird (Derby County), Jamie Ward (Nottingham Forest), Steven Davis (Southampton), Oliver Norwood (Reading), Corry Evans (Blackburn Rovers), Niall McGinn (Aberdeen) and Paddy McNair (Manchester United)

Strikers

Kyle Lafferty (Norwich City), Conor Washington (Queens Park Rangers), Josh Magennis (Kilmarnock) and Will Grigg (Wigan Athletic)
