Italian tells Chelsea he can solve their problems with three signings

Antonio Conte has informed the Chelsea board that he can solve all their on-field problems with just three signings over the summer.

The Italian is expected to be announced the new Chelsea boss any day now after it was confirmed that he would be leaving his role as Italy‘s head-coach.

Conte will leave the national job after the European Championships after confirming he wants to return to club management, all-but confirming he’s taking over at Stamford Bridge.

With that expected to be announced, Conte has already held transfer talks with Roman Abramovich and co., and he’s told them that three signings are all he needs.

According to reports, Conte has informed the club’s board that he will need just £75million to solve problems, and that would see him bring in three new faces.

Conte’s Changes for Chelsea

It’s believed Leonardo Bonucci, Radja Nainggolan and Arturo Vidal are the main three players he wants to bring with him to Chelsea.

Conte will also look to sell some of the current players at Stamford Bridge to raise some funds, with Loic Remy, Eden Hazard and Radamel Falcao the three most likely to leave.

The same reports claim Conte is currently having English lessons so that he is comfortable with the language for when he joins the club, and also has plans to change Chelsea’s tactics completely.

It’s reported that Conte wants to use a formation which consists of three men at the back and plenty of midfielders. This would see Bonucci leading the defensive line and Nainggolan and Vidal controlling the midfield.

He’s also planning on bringing back Juan Cuadrado and Andreas Christensen from their loans.
