Italian wants to bring four figures with him to Stamford Bridge

Antonio Conte has moved a step closer to taking over at Chelsea after the club agreed to him bringing four members of his backroom staff to Stamford Bridge.

The Italian has been in talks with Chelsea for the past few weeks, and a deal is expected to be announced by the end of the month, with Conte taking over at the club in mid-July following the European Championships.

Conte wants his future to be decided and announced before some pre-Euro friendlies take place later this month so that everyone knows what is happening over the next few months.

According to reports, in their latest negotiations, Conte requested for four members of his backroom staff to join him at Stamford Bridge, which was green-lighted by the club’s officials.

It’s believed Conte’s assistants Angelo Alessio and Massimo Carerra will join him in England, along with scouts Mauro Sandreani and Gianluca Conte, with the latter being his brother.

Despite the four new figures coming in with Conte, it’s believe Steve Holland, who is the current assistant, will still remain with the club in some way or another.
