Italian wants Inter Milan winger at Chelsea should he be appointed
Chelsea will look to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic should Eden Hazard leave the club, according to reports.
Antonio Conte, who is heavily tipped to become the next permanent Chelsea boss, is keen on keeping Hazard at Stamford Bridge and turning him back into the player that won the PFA Player of the Year.
However, it’s looking more and more likely that the Belgian will be leaving the Blues, and that leaves them needing a replacement.
With that in mind, Conte is an admirer of Perisic and could launch a formal bid for the 27-year-old over the summer. The Inter man has scored eight goals so far this term, providing four assist as well.
According to reports in Italy, Chelsea could launch a formal bid worth around £23million.
Conte is expected to take over the reigns at Stamford Bridge after the European Championships in July, and he’s expected to make a few changes to the team.
It’s believed he wants at least three new additions and could also work on a new formation for the club.
