Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool have been dealt a huge transfer blow as Lyon’s president has refused to listen to offers for striker Alexandre Lacazette.

The Frenchman, who has scored 17-goals this season for the Ligue 1 outift, has been closely monitored by both Premier League sides, and also Everton, Newcastle and Juventus, but Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that he has no plans on selling their asset.

The 22-year-old has had a superb season for Lyon and is expected to make the France World Cup side in Brazil, and after impressing Arsene Wenger, Brendan Rodgers and Alan Pardew, the striker will be in the spotlight this Summer as all three clubs prepare to make formal bids.

However, speaking in a recent interview, Aulas has revealed that he has no plans on cashing in on his French star.

“Alexandre Lacazette? We are negotiating and we aim to extend his contract.”
