After rumours that Premier League duo, Liverpool and Arsenal, target Isco could quit Real Madrid, the attacking midfielder has come to quash the speculation; claiming he’s staying in the Spanish Capital.

The former-Malaga midfielder joined Madrid just over a year ago but has failed to hold down a regular starting place in the side, due to serious midfield competition from the likes of; Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The arrivals of World Cup stars Kroos and Rodriguez have pushed Isco further down the pecking order, and that sparked reports linking him with a switch to England.

However, when speaking to The Express Isco said: ‘Like all players, I want to play but I am ready to be in the team whenever the coach wants.

‘Last year was amazing, winning titles, and I am very happy at Real Madrid.”
