Real Madrid boss unhappy?

All is far from well at Real Madrid, according to PSG boss Luis Fernandez.

Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly upset at the transfers of Angel Di Maria to Manchester United and Xabi Alonso to Bayern Munich.

It is believed the Italian didn’t give his backing to either of the deals, and blames the sales for the clubs indifferent start to the season.

Madrid have recorded some high scoring wins, but losses against city rivals Atletico as well as Real Sociedad have took the shine off Los Blancos campaign.

Di Maria, meanwhile, has made a fine start to his Manchester United career with two goals and two assists in four games so far.

PSG were thought to be Di Maria’s preferred choice but financial fair play made a deal undoable.

Fernandez believes Ancelotti is upset about the departures, and also that there may be problems at the Champions League holders. “Some important players left and it showed. (Di Maria) is a sensational footballer, as he showed at the World Cup. Ancelotti was not happy at all that he left Madrid, and even less so when another of his key players (Alonso) left as well.”

Speaking about Di Maria, Fernandez was open in his admiration; “I would have loved to see Di Maria at the Parc des Princes.”
