Arsenal and Italian giants Roma are targeting Barcelona youngster Tonny Sanabria.
The 17-year-old Paraguayan striker is a regular in Barcelona’s well known B side.
His representatives met with Arsenal on Wednesday and are deemed to be favourites to beat Roma to the hot prospect’s signature once they pay the £2.5million buy-out clause next month.
Arsenal are also keeping their eye on potential signing Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old, who is also a target for Tottenham, may be allowed to leave on loan in January.
Morata is a target for Wenger as he target’s a back up to Olivier Giroud, who has played numerous games for Arsenal without rest.
Max Meyer from Schalke is also a target for Arsene Wenger’s team of youngsters.
