Arsenal are closing in on a deal for Polish sensation, Krystian Bielik, who has been dubbed ‘the new Patrick Vieira’.
The Gunners have had the youngster scouted for the past few weeks, and according to reports this morning, the two clubs have agreed a deal worth £1.6million.
The 16-year-old is capable of playing at centre-back as well as holding-midfield, and his stature and power has likened him to former-Arsenal captain, Vieira, who is a club legend for his services during his career at the club.
Many Arsenal fans still believe the club have failed to replace Vieira, who left the club way back in 2005, and despite Bielik only being a teenager, he is showing early signs of being a long-term replacement.
According to reports, the Legia Warsaw starlet has been in North London holding talks with officials from Arsenal, and the two clubs seems happy to agree to a deal worth £1.6m.
The reports are suggesting that Bielik will sign a contract worth £2k-a-week, but it’s not understood whether he will join in January, or in the Summer.
Bielike was reportedly advised by his parents to choose Arsenal as they feel it would be best for his career.
