The Gunners are considering an approach to bring the Special One in as manager
Arsenal are reportedly planning a move to try and bring in Jose Mourinho as manager, despite him being linked heavily with the Man United hotseat.
Several reports over the last couple of weeks have claimed that there is only one destination for Jose Mourinho and that is Old Trafford, with some Spanish reports claiming that the Special One has already put pen-to-paper on a pre-contract agreement to join the Red Devils at the end of the season.
However, despite these claims, Arsenal are now believed to be planning a late swoop to try and have him as manager next season.
Fed up of failures
This would of course mean that long-serving boss Arsene Wenger would be leaving the club and Gunners’ owners are reportedly willing to do this because of his continued failed attempts to try and win the Premier League. It seems unlikely that they will finish first this year and it means that the club has now gone over ten years without winning the Premier League trophy.
Wenger does have a contract until next summer but Arsenal chiefs could be willing to end his time at the club a year earlier than his contract expiry if they can bring Jose Mourinho in.
