Arsenal fans went into complete meltdown yesterday as it was confirmed their once-loved captain Cesc Fabregas had completed his move to London rivals, Chelsea.
The Spaniard posted a picture of himself holding up a Chelsea shirt and captioned it with ‘delighted to sign for Chelsea Football Club’, he then released a formal statement on his official Facebook page thanking FC Barcelona and introducing himself to The Blues faithful.
In his statement, he revealed that Arsenal turned down the chance to re-sign him, and that was one of the main reasons behind their complete melt-down on Twitter yesterday.
