Premier League side Arsenal are showing interest in Manchester duo Robin Van Persie, from United, and Micah Richards, from City.

Arsene Wenger will be given yet another substantial transfer kitty for the Summer, and he is ready to splash most of it on bringing back former-captain Van Persie from Manchester United, who is reportedly unhappy working with David Moyes.

Van Persie left The Gunners last season and helped guide United to their 20th Premier League title, but since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, he hasn’t looked his normal self at Old Trafford, and according to reports, he is not happy at the club under Moyes.

When joining Old Trafford, Van Persie was told that both Ferguson and Rene Meulensteen would be at the club for the long-term still, but one year later, they had both left to be replaced by Moyes and his men.

It isn’t clear how much Arsenal would pay for the Dutchman and it isn’t known whether or not the striker would actually return to the Emirates Stadium after all the abuse he has received since leaving, but Wenger is clearly keen on bringing him back.

The Frenchman is also showing interest in City right-back Micah Richards, who is struggling to make any appearances for his current club under Manuel Pellegrini.

There are serious fears that Bacary Sagna will be leaving the Emirates this Summer when his contract expires, so Wenger is desperate to bring in a new right-back as he doesn’t feel Carl Jenkinson is ready for the first-team permanently just yet.

It is believed that Wenger will bid up to ÂŁ10million for the right-back, and ÂŁ25million for the striker.
