Gunners are expected to overhaul their squad this summer

After a poor Premier League campaign this season and Arsene Wenger to leave the club at the end of the season, Arsenal are preparing to bolster their squad on and off the field in the summer.

The Gunners are already eyeing new targets for whoever takes over at the Emirates. Carlo Ancelotti, Luis Enrique and Massimiliano Allegri have already been linked to replace Wenger next season.

Arsenal are keen to bring Juventus defender Daniele Rugani this summer according to Calcio Mercato. They are long time admirers of the defender and wants him to replace German defender Per Mertesacker.

The 23 year old is one of the most promising defenders in the world but has failed established himself as a regular starter in the team this season. Giorgio Chiellini, Benedikt Howedes and Medhi Benatia have been preferred ahead by Allegri in the starting XI.

Juventus are aware that the Italian defender is one of the most promising defender in the world and wants to take the right decision about the player’s future. According to reports the Italian giants would demand atleast €40 million for him if they decide to sell him.

Allegri is also linked with a exit this summer and the club will only made a decision about the future of the talented centre back in the summer when they will know more about the future of the manager.
