The Gunners are keeping tabs on Toulouse keeper Alban Lafont

Arsenal are considering a move to bring Alban Lafont to the Emirates Stadium.

According to reports in France, the young keeper is a target for the Gunners and they could launch a bid to bring him to England in January. Arsene Wenger’s side do already have a top class keeper in between the sticks in Petr Cech, but the club are looking to the future and believe the Toulouse man could be a good player to have in the long-term.

The young talent is just 17-years old and has already impressed in the top French league. He has bags of potential and has been a massive hit since making his debut back in 2015.

Caught the eye in France

Because of his huge potential, he might not be cheap for Arsenal but it’s a price worth paying to ensure that they are secure in the goalkeeping position in the future, once Petr Cech hangs up his gloves.

Lafont has already begun to cement himself as a key player for Toulouse despite his age and he has caught the eye of several teams across Europe. However, it’s the Gunners who have the most interest in doing business and they’ll be hoping to lure him to England in January.
