It is said that Arsene Wenger will make an improved offer of £35m for the Liverpool striker after his first bid of £30m was rejected.
The Uruguayan has spent another weekend trying to get away from Liverpool and claiming that he has suffered as a player due to Liverpool not playing in the Champions League.
This has made Arsenal encouraged to step up their chase of signing him and to make the improved offer of £35m.
