Arsenal striker told to quit the club

Arsenal striker Park Chu-Young has been told by his South Korean coach that he should leave the Premier League in order to save his international status.

Hong Myung-Bo believes it is important for the striker to be playing regularly and he doesn’t see Park featuring enough at Arsenal to be considered for the first team.

Since signing from AS Monaco back in 2011 during Arsene Wenger’s panic buying spree, the striker has only featured six times for the North London club, and in order to keep in the South Korean team, he has been told to leave the Emirates as soon as he can.

“Park knows what he has to do,” said Myung-Bo when asked if he should quit Arsenal.

“He must find a new team if he wants to remain in the national team.”
