Arsenal face the prospect of losing right-back Bacary Sagna, as contract talks are still not advancing.

With a whole host of clubs interested in the player, including Manchester City and PSG, Arsenal could lose Sagna on a free transfer if a deal is not struck before the summer window opens.

It is understood a deal of a two year extention for Sagna has been on the table for some time, with talks going nowhere. However manager, Arsene Wenger, remains hopeful that the defender will stay at the club. He said: “At the moment they (talks) are not progressing. We know what we want from him, he knows what is on the table and that is where we are,”.

‘The ball is not in our camp anymore, it is in his camp, and he needs to come back to us.’
