Arsenal target Angel Di Maria has revealed that he is happy at Real Madrid and insists that he has no intentions of leaving the Bernabeu.
The Argentine was in superb form for Madrid on Monday night and even won man of the match, which lead to heavy praise from manager Carlo Ancelotti, but he has still been linked with a move away from the club because of the predicted signing of Gareth Bale.
Di Maria would find it hard to get first-team action with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bale playing on the wings and because of that, Arsenal are weighing up a bid for the 25-year-old, but the winger has dealt Arsene Wenger a blow by revealing that he wants to stay in Spain.
“I understand that the club is strengthening and they are precise in what they do,” Di Maria is quoted by AS.
“But I signed up to 2018 just a year ago and my desire is to stay in the Bernabeu.”
