Arsenal are set to offer Sevilla £12 million to sign Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca, reports the Metro this evening.

The Gunners are keen to bolster their squad, with Wenger desperate to sign a striker before Monday’s 11pm deadline.

Arsenal are without a recognised striker, following Olivier Giroud’s injury, which will leave him out until January, and will turn to Sevilla’s Bacca.

The North London club are set to test the resolve of the Spanish side, with the Colombian netting 15 goals in La Liga last term.

Everton have also had a £6 million bid rejected, however, according to reports in Spain, the Gunners are set to land Bacca for a slice of a £12 million fee.
