Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has today revealed that he has not thought about his future and has admitted that he will make his final decision in June, once the current campaign ends.

A lot of people have been speculating that the 2013/2014 season could be Wenger’s last as the Arsenal boss, ending his 16-year tenure, but during his press conference today ahead of his side’s clash with Sunderland on Saturday, he refused to open up about a potential new contract.

The likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have both been keen on signing Wenger, but he has turned down all approaches in order to stay at the Emirates despite enduring tough times as of late.

A trophyless run of eight years hasn’t been enough for the Arsenal board to sack the Frenchman and he has now revealed that no plans are in place for his future just yet.

‘There are no new talks planned. At the end I will decide how well I’ve done for this club. You judge a manager on how well he does with the team.’

‘We are not in hurry. We are in September my contract expires in June. There’s a long way to go,’ said Wenger.

Wenger is currently the Premier League’s longest serving manager after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer, but his long-time rival could be joining him on the retirement list sooner than we think.
