Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has put on his transfer wishlist for this summer two new strikers to pair up with Olivier Giroud upfront. The Gunners boss is currently at the World Cup in Brazil as a whizz for French TV, but is also using his time to scout potential new signings.

With Niklas Bendtner one of the 11 players who have left the club this summer, strikers are at the top of the Frenchman’s transfer agenda. According to reports, Wenger wants to sign not just one but two new strikers to play alongside French international Olivier Giroud next season. QPR striker Loic Remy is available for £8 million due to a buy-out clause in his contract. It is understood that Remy is keen on a move to The Emirates, and is set to join the North London club alongside a more expensive attainment.

Croatian International Mario Mandzukic is also available after announcing his desire to leave current club Bayern Munich after getting fed up of the lack of game time at the German Club.

Luis Suarez’s transfer saga could also have an effect on whether Barcelona starlet Alexis Sanchez or Real Madrid duo Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata head to The Emirates should the Uruguayan move to Spain.
