Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has admitted that he knows Premier League side Manchester United are keen on him, but he is adamant that no decision regarding his future has been made.

The Chilean international, who is set to go on holiday after competing in the World Cup, has publicly spoken about his future for the first time, and he has reassured Juve fans for now that he is not thinking about leaving the club.

Vidal, who has won three Serie A titles in Turin, has declared that interest in him is there, but he has also stated that he may choose to remain a Juve player for the rest of his career, denting any hopes that United had in signing him.

United have now been joined by fierce-rivals Liverpool in the race for Vidal, but they will have to wait longer as the midfielder doesn’t intend to make any decision quickly.

Vidal said: “It’s difficult to speak of other teams when you are already at a top club.

“I have won the Serie A title three times and I respect my team-mates.

“I have heard about the interest shown by Real Madrid and [Manchester] United in me but there is someone [Vidal’s agent] who deals with this.

“Have I completed a cycle [at Juventus]? I don’t feel that way.

“Perhaps I will remain at Juventus all my life.

“Once I arrive to Italy I will speak to the coach and see what happens.

“Now the only thing on my mind on is that I have seven or eight days of holiday left and I want to go away from Chile in order to have a good rest.”
