Ligue 1 side want Chelsea boss as new manager
AS Monaco have made contact with Jose Mourinho about potentially taking over as manager at the club, according to shareholder Alessandro Proto.
The Chelsea manager is under severe pressure at Stamford Bridge following the club’s awful start to the new campaign, which sees them sitting 15th in the league table after ten games.

Chelsea have lost half of their games so far this season, meaning they’ve already lost two more than what they did in their entire title-winning campaign.
With pressure mounting on Mourinho and Roman Abramovich already highlighting potential replacements, The Special One could be set for a second exit from The Bridge.
Some reports are suggesting that defeat to Liverpool next weekend would be the end to Mourinho’s reign, but he’s already been in contact with a club about a possible job.
Monaco have reportedly held talks with Mourinho, according to a shareholder.

“On Saturday night the first contact was made with Jose Mourinho about training Monaco,” Proto told Spanish newspaper Sport.
“We are still in a very early stage but we are convinced that Mourinho could train Monaco.”
