Chelsea defender Ashley Cole could be willing to make a shock Summer move to London-rivals Tottenham Hotspur, which would see his reputation with Arsenal fans, his former-club, diminish even more.
The left-back is reportedly on his way out of Stamford Bridge this year once his contract expires, and with no talks of an extension in the pipeline, he has been linked with a move to Premier League side Liverpool, or even Spanish giants Real Madrid.
However, in yet another twist, Cole could be set to make a stunning move to White Hart Lane.
The 33-year-old, who has been monitored by both Liverpool and Manchester City, is one of the names on Spurs’ shortlist as a potential new full-back as they prepare to strengthen their side ahead of next season.
If Cole was to make this transfer, it would mean he has featured for Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea, following the footsteps of centre-back William Gallas, who started at Chelsea and ended at Tottenham.
