On the last day of the transfer window, Colchester United signed Tyreik Wright on loan from Aston Villa. The 20-year-old winger has arrived to give Colchester better-attacking options until the end of the season. It was the club’s third deadline day signing.

The Ireland international is expected to be in Colchester’s squad when they will face Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Meanwhile, The 20-year-old winger spent the first half of the season on loan at Colchester’s League Two rivals Salford City.
