Atletico Madrid are weighing up a move for Everton forward Richarlison.
The Spanish club have reportedly had an initial chat with Richarlisons’ entourage and might launch an attempt in summer to lure the player to Wanda Metropolitano.
Everton forked out a massive £50m to acquire his services from Watford and given his tender age the Toffees would be hoping to cash in should they sanction his departure.
The Brazilian made an excellent start to life in the Merseyside and had lit up the Premier League with his blazing form. But since the end of the last year, the 21 year old hasn’t been able to showcase his talent.
Chelsea are also believed to be interested in the player but Atletico are ready to splash big on the player. Everton are looking for at least £80m and with Chelsea already agreed to bring Pulisic in the summer it should pave the way for Diego Simeone to bring the youngster to Spain.
Marco Silva is a big admirer of the player and Richarlison followed his footsteps to Goodison Park. But Silva’s post at the club is under turmoil following Everton’s recent performances and the manager’s imminent future would be very important in deciding Richarlison’s fate.
