Bayern Munich are showing interest in Chelsea defender, Branislav Ivanovic, and could launch a formal move at the end of the season.
The Serbian is currently in contract talks with The Blues as his deal is set to expire next Summer, but the Bundesliga champions want to sign the centre-back this year and offer him a long-term deal.
Due to the club’s policy regarding players over the age of 30, Ivanovic will only be offered 12-month extensions every year, but with Munich ready to offer him a longer deal, he may be tempted to quit Stamford Bridge.
Pep Guardiola is keen on signing a right-back this Summer for his side and Ivanovic is the latest to be added onto the shortlist, alongside Everton’s Seamus Coleman and Torino’s Matteo Darmian.
However, Guardiola is a big fan of Ivanovic and believes he could get him at a cut-price due to his contract situation.
