Bernardo Silva believes Manchester City are physically on top conditions and are ready to renew their Premier League title challenge.
A string of losses in the last few matches shifted the momentum to Liverpool’s favour but Jurgen Klopp’s side wasted two gilt edged opportunities to build a healthy lead at the top.
City took the opportunity and thrashed Arsenal 3-1 with Sergio Aguero netting a hat-trick to reduce the gap to just three points. They will have another chance to leapfrog Liverpool if the Sky Blues manage to get the better of Everton on Wednesday.
Bernardo has been in sparkling form off late and will play a pivotal role if City are to secure the top position. Silva said, “We’ll always dream. We know that in the Premier League anything is possible, there are lots of games and anything can happen.
“We just need to do our job and if we do it right, I believe we can be champions.
“Physically we’re good, we have a big squad with many options and after the win against Arsenal we are eager and determined to reduce the gap to Liverpool even more.
“Our focus is to beat Everton at Goodison Park, get the three points that will help us climb to the top of the table and kick on again.”
