Striker set to join The Swans

Swansea City are set to complete the signing of Portuguese striker Eder after he passed a medical in Wales this morning.

The 27-year-old has agreed to a three-year deal at the Liberty Stadium after Swansea agreed to pay £5million to Sporting Braga.

Eder to Replace Bony

The fee was agreed over the weekend, and now according to breaking reports, the striker has passed his medical and is now set to finalise his move to Swansea.

Garry Monk‘s side has been in the market for a striker after selling Wilfried Bony to Manchester City back in January, and Eder is the man Monk wanted.

Eder scored 10 goals in 19 games last season for Braga and is now Swansea’s fourth summer signing, following; Andre Ayew, Franck Tabanou and Kristoffer Nordfeldt.

The deal could be announced later today if all the paperwork can be completed and filed in time.

Michu Out?

In other transfer news for Swansea, it’s been reported that Michu ISN’T part of long-terms plans in Wales and is expected to be sold to find a new club within the next fortnight.

The Spaniard had a stunning debut campaign in England, but failed to replicate it in the second year before being sent out on loan to Serie A side Napoli.
