Hoffenheim play-maker set for Anfield move in ÂŁ29million deal

Liverpool have reached an agreement for Hoffenheim play-maker Roberto Firmino, according to Sky Sports News.

The Brazilian midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, and it was revealed the other week by his agent that he would in fact be completing the switch to England this summer.

It was believed to be Manchester United who were set to sign him, but according to Sky Sources, it is Liverpool who have made the formal move.

Fee Agreed

Sky Sports News have just tweeted that Liverpool and Hoffenheim have agreed a fee for the 23-year-old, believed to be around £29million.

Firmino would become Brendan Rodgers‘ fifth signing of the summer, following James Milner, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan and Joe Gomez.

The deal is expected to be finalised after the Copa America, which Firmino is part of with Brazil.
