Tottenham Hotspur make fourth and final offer
Tottenham Hotspur have made a fourth and final bid for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, believed to be around £23million.
As reported earlier, Spurs have made three formal bids for the striker already this summer, with the latest coming earlier today.
However, Mauricio Pochettino saw all offers get knocked back by The Baggies with Tony Pulis and officials at The Hawthorns playing hardball over the striker’s future.
West Brom made it very clear earlier this summer that they wouldn’t be selling by making a formal statement about the striker’s future and they are expected to reject Spurs’ fourth and final bid.
Berahino did hand in a formal transfer request earlier in the window, but it was rejected by the club who are refusing to sell.
It’s now looking like Spurs will miss out on signing a striker and the Englishman will be staying put at WBA.
