Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is set to hold talks with the club’s hierarcy on Friday in order to discuss potential transfer dealings this month.

Owner John Henry is expected to fly into England from America on Thursday, so that the two can plan out their options for the month ahead regarding who to buy and who to potentially let leave the club.

One player who is extremely linked with Anfield is Basel’s Mohamed Salah and at the moment, Rodgers believes the Egyptian will be his only signing, but The Reds’ manager is eager to talk to Henry about funds available and how much freedom he has this month in the market.

Rodgers is keen to land a left-back, centre-back, midfielder and a striker, but has already conceded that most of that business will have to take place in the Summer, rather than this month.
