Bookmakers slash odds on former-Liverpool manager dropping to Championship
Brendan Rodgers could be back in management following his dismissal from Liverpool – but it could be in the Championship with Queens Park Rangers.
The Northern-Irishman was sacked by Liverpool earlier this season, and replaced with Jurgen Klopp, after a poor run of results leaving them in mid-table.
Since leaving Anfield, Rodgers has been linked with numerous jobs, including the Chelsea and Aston Villa positions.
Rodgers To Drop A Level?
However, he’s now backed to join Championship side QPR, following their decision to sack Chris Ramsey.
Neil Warnock is temporarily in charge at Loftus Road, but bookmakers have slashed Rodgers’ odds down from 14/1 to just 4/1.
It would be a shock move for Rodgers, but he is deemed the second-favourite to take the position.
Nigel Pearson is the current favourite after he was sacked by Leicester City at the end of last season.
