Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon looks set to join the French Club by the weekend.
The Italian goalkeeper will undergo a medical at the French club on Saturday and if he pass the medical, he will be officially signed by the club on Monday according to reports from Sky Italia,
Buffon is arguably one of the best goalkeeper of all time. The Italian goalkeeper was a part of the Italian club Juventus for 17 years. He joined the Italian club in 2001 has since then he has been guarding the goal post for more than 600 games for the club. Buffon has been a one of the key factors which has given the Italian Club enormous amount of success. But he could never add a Champion League trophy to his collections.
However it is still not confirmed whether Bufforn will be present in the starting 11 for PSG next season. But to keep such a dynamic player on bench will not be easy for the French club.
Buffon was transferred from Parma to Juventus in July 2001 for €52 million, along with former Parma teammate Liliam Thuram. There were reports of him joining the Spanish side Barcelona but his father convinced him to join the Italian club.
Buffon debuted for Juventus in the opening match of the season 2001-02. He kept clean sheet in the match which ended in a 4-0 win over Venezia.
