The Red Devils looks to steal the Juventus Deal for star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to reports from The Sun , Manchester United are looking to steal the Juventus deal for the Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo. The reports states that the executive Vice-chairman of the Red Devils,  Ed Woodward is raising the fund to outbid the Juventus deal for Ronaldo in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are prepared to offer star footballer the desired salary and are not scared of spending money for their former player. The club has said that they are also not worried about the imperfect relationship with United’s current boss Jose Mourinho.

Cristiano Ronaldo was signed by the English side from Sporting CP in the year 2003. He was the first Portuguese player to be a part of the Red Devils. At old Trafford he wore the number 7 T-shirt which was previously worn by United legends like, George Best, Eric Cantona and David Beckham.

He debuted for the club as a substitute in a home game against Bolton Wandarers which resulted in a 4-0 victory on 16th August 2003.  The Portuguese waited for 3- months for his first goal for the Devil which came against Portsmouth as a free-kick. The match ended in a 3-0 win for the Red Devils. He represented the Devils for 292 games across all competition and scored on 118 occasions. His last goal for the Devils came at Old Trafford against Arc-rival Manchester City on 10th may 2009. Then the Portuguese forward said adieu to the English side and signed for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The Reports have mentioned that the Red Devil chief is aware of the fact that there has not been any deal signed between the Italian club and the Spanish giants.

The Red devils were also interested in signing the Wales forward Gareth Bale and Brazilian midfielder Willian, but the reports says that the club are in no condition to land both the players in one season.

United will look to exploit the relationship with Jose Mendes, who happens to be the common agent between Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho to get the deal done
