Carlos Tevez completes move to China and becomes world’s highest paid player

Striker will earn £600k PER WEEK

Carlos Tevez has completed his move to Shanghai Shenhua, and will now earn staggering amounts of money in Asia.

The move will see the former Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus striker earn an incredible £34.4million per season.

He recently said an emotional goodbye to his childhood club Boca Juniors before moving onto pastures new, but is unlikely to stay upset for too long, as he is now earning £1 every second.

Here is a complete breakdown of his new wage,

  • £63,960,000 over the course of his two year contract
  • £2,767,500 a month
  • £87,857 a day
  • £3,660 an hour
  • £61 a minute
  • £1.01 a second

The average monthly wage in Shanghai is currently 5,891 yuan, which translates to somewhere in the region of £690. Carlos Tevez now earns this in just over 10 minutes.

The money in football is becoming more and more incredible.
