Former-Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has admitted that it would be amazing if his old-side could finally lift the Premier League trophy this season – a decade on since their last title.
Now of FC Barcelona, Fabregas spoke out about the Premier League title race and he admitted that he would love to see The Gunners see of rivals Manchester City and Chelsea, but he knows how tough it will be for Arsene Wenger and co., and he knows that they team which shows most consistency will be the team that takes home the trophy.
In a recent interview, Fabregas admitted that he still watches as many Arsenal matches as he can and he cannot wait to see the race continue.
‘I watch every game of Arsenal’s,’ he told Sportsmail. ‘I am very happy how they are playing, they have a strong squad, they are top of the league.
‘I cannot wait to see if they can lift the trophy finally.
‘It would be amazing, they need to be very consistent between now and the end of the season.’
