Sky Sources suggest deal has been agreed

Chelsea have agreed a £7million season-long loan deal to sign striker Radamel Falcao from French side AS Monaco.

The Blues will sign the Colombia international on a one-year deal which includes a buyout clause of just over £35million.

Fee Agreed

Manchester United also had a one-year contract with the forward last season worth £6million, however, their buyout clause, which they chose not to go ahead with, was £42million.

However, it has yet to be confirmed of how much Chelsea are willing to pay the 29-year-old but the Colombian earned £265,000-a-week while on loan at the Red Devils.

Both Chelsea and Monaco have agreed terms for the move to go ahead and the deal is expected to be finalised and confirmed later this week.

England Struggles

Falcao struggled to hit form while at Old Trafford, with him scoring just four goals in 26 appearances.

There is light at the end of the tunnel for Falcao as Blues manager Jose Mourinho is adamant that he can get the striker back to his best.
