Chelsea have beaten Manchester United by securing a deal for Brazilian youngster Kenedy according to GloboEsporte.

Chelsea have apparently agreed a deal worth ÂŁ6m with just over ÂŁ3m going to Kenedy’s current club and the remaining amount going to Kenedy’s other owners which are BMG bank and his agent Evandro Ferreira.

Fluminense chief Peter Siemsen has been in talks with Giuliano Bertolucci for over a month regarding a move.

Bertolucci played a part in the transfers of Willian, Ramires and Oscar to Chelsea in the past.

Last month Fluminense source Eduardo Valdes said: “There was contact with Chelsea recently.

“It was through Deco, who is now his agent. It was an approach, not a formal offer though.

“Half of Europe is following him.”
